Journal of Orthopedics & Joint Surgery
Volume 1 | Issue 1 | Year 2020

Journal of Orthopedics and Joint Surgery (JOJS) is a new addition to the academic endeavor of our prestigious Tamil Nadu Orthopedic Association (TNOA). With the aim of running an indexed journal, the TNOA has taken a step forward and, in association with the reputed Jaypee Brothers Medical Publishers, we have left no stone unturned in maintaining high standards and all the prerequisites like online submission, double-blind peer review, etc. needed for an indexed journal, are being strictly adhered to.

The nucleus of our journal is the strong editorial board and the advisory committee, whose rich and vast academic experience will add great impetus, immense credibility and motivate our fellow orthopedic surgeons to submit more manuscripts. With a view to encourage all our colleagues, the entire spectrum of orthopedic subspecialties has been included and not restricted to only a few.

As the editors-in-chief, we take immense pleasure in bringing out the first issue of our journal. We thank the TNOA for having faith in us and supporting us in bringing out this issue successfully. Our members have overwhelmingly contributed to our journal and submitted manuscripts in good numbers. We humbly request more patronage for the forthcoming issues and help for our cause of getting our journal indexed under a wide spectrum of indexing agencies.

We are highly confident that we will pick up more pace from here and our JOJS will have a wide reach amongst the orthopaedic fraternity and will establish itself as a sought-after journal in the near future.

We request all our friends to log on to the website www.jojs.in for all the details regarding our journal.

With regards!

Editors-in-Chief

Dr V Thirunarayanan
